The black country living museum, Installation
with objects, slide projections and sound. It groups
different experiences I gathered in culturally con-
verted industryparks in England. The question about
the possibility of rehabilitating buildings with
meaningful social history interested me. How one
can give an old shell a new content without having
it lose the historical connection and the meaning
already associated with it.

In situ, exhibit of photographs in the Raiffeisen-
kasse (bank) in Bad St. Leonhard, Austria. The
exhibit directly refers to the village, its history
and their participants. I followed the historic track
of the gothic glass windows of the pilgrim-church
in Bad St. Leonhard from the thirties until today:
I went to their new geographical home at the
'Cloisters', part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art
in New York in order to present big color prints in
their old home town. The visitors of the exhibit
were confrontation with their own, recent history.

Bad St. Leonhard is the town I grew up in and
where I returned to with this exhibit.

Archives, an installation of objects and sculptures
with the French artist Louis Rollinde for the opening
of the Gallery 'Michelle Rème' in Paris. We wanted
to integrate the presence of old books presented
in the gallery. My intervention consisted of three
'book towers' made out of different materials, and
a collection of wooden books on which excerpts of
texts in terra cotta were mounted. The motifs were
inspired by cuneiform script boards and inscriptions
associated with the origins of writing. Since the
exhibit, old print graphics are sold in the gallery
and more exhibits are presented.
